CKVE-FM Cove FM

Cove FM is a not for profit community radio station owned and operated by Hubbards Radio Society. We serve the eastern part of Nova Scotia’s South Shore. Ours studios are located in Hubbards and our transmission facilities are located on the top of nearby Aspotogan Mountain. Our legal call letters are CKVE-FM. We are a class A FM station, transmitting at a power of 1080 watts ERP with our antenna at 150 metres above average terrain. We offer a mixed music format that includes pop, rock, country, folk, blues, jazz, bluegrass, East Coast, and many other genres by both well known performers and indie artists. Our signal reaches west to the outskirts of Bridgewater and east to the outskirts of Halifax covering a population of approximately 50,000 people. The station is operated by volunteers from the community.
